Certificates

A selection of certificates that showcase my ongoing commitment to learning and professional development in instructional design and learning technologies.

Articulate Storyline 360 Essential Training

Through this course, I gained hands-on experience designing interactive eLearning in Articulate Storyline 360. I learned to build custom slides, use asset libraries, create advance interactions, import templates, and publish accessible, engaging digital content that supports learner progress.

Cinematic Composition for Video Productions

This course deepened my understanding of cinematic composition for video production. i learned how to apply framing techniques like the rule of thirds, shot size, and perspective to create visually compelling stories. I explored how to establish scenes, create depth, and use camera movement and angles intentionally - as well as when to break the rules for creative impact. the course also covered practical skills in lenses, lighting, and using viewfinder apps to plan shots effectively.

Intro To User Experience Design

This course introduced the fundamentals of User Experience (UX) Design with a focus on user-centered design principles. I explored the four-step UX design cycle - discover, design, model, and evaluate - and learned how to apply research techniques to gather user needs, create effective interface designs, and test usability. The course emphasized that good design is systematic and data-driven, reinforcing how structured methods can lead to more effective and satisfying user experiences.

Instructional Design Essentials

This course provided a solid foundation in instructional design for eLearning. I learned how to evaluate when eLearning is appropriate, apply backward design and adult learning theory (andragogy), and structure content for diverse learners. I gained practical strategies for engagement, tone, accessibility, and gamification, as well as best practices for designing assessments and working with LMS platforms to create inclusive and impactful learning experiences.

eLearning Essentials: SCORM & Tin Can API

This course introduced me to the fundamentals of SCORM and Tin Can API (Experience API), focusing on how these standards support LMS integration and learning data tracking. I gained an understanding of how tools like Articulate and Captivate utilize SCORM, and how Tin Can enables more advanced reporting and analysis of learning experiences - critical for designing scalable, data-driven eLearning solutions.

Agile Instructional Design

This course taught me how to apply Agile instructional design using SAM (Successive Approximation Model) framework to create effective, learner-focused experiences. I learned how to brainstorm, sketch, and prototype ideas quickly, test and refine designs early, and build solutions that stay aligned with learner needs and project goals. It also emphasized how to empower instructional design success through collaboration, flexibility, and continuous improvement.

AI Mastery

I am currently completing advanced coursework in AI mastery, with a focus on leveraging generative AI tools to enhance learning design, content development, and productivity. The program explores practical applications of conversational AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude), image-generation platforms (e.g., DALL-E, MidJourney, Stable Diffusion), and writing/ideation tools (e.g., Jasper, DeepSeek). Emphasis is place on applying these technologies to create engaging multimedia learning assets, streamline instructional design workflows, and support innovative training strategies.
